Split Fiction : Deux moitiés, une seule histoire [VIDEO]

Hazelight didn’t want to change the tried and true formula, so Josef Fares is working on another cooperative two-player adventure after It Takes Two.

Jump into mind-bending moments as you experience the many worlds of Split Fiction, a boundary-pushing cooperative adventure from the studio behind It Takes Two. Mio and Zoe are contrasting writers who find themselves trapped in their own stories after being hooked up to a machine designed to steal their creative ideas. They’ll have to rely on each other to break free, working together to master a variety of skills and overcome various challenges while jumping between sci-fi and fantasy worlds in this unexpected story of friendship.

This split-screen adventure is designed for two players. Experience cooperative gameplay where you’ll need to coordinate your actions and timing, and work together to overcome challenges. Invite a friend to join you for free cross-platform play with the Friend’s Pass (requires Friend’s Pass installation, a permanent Internet connection, and an appropriate platform account. One user must own the full game for the cooperative player to play the full game).

Discover new mechanics and abilities in each level of your adventure, which alternates between sci-fi and fantasy settings. Escape a sun that’s going supernova, challenge a monkey to a dance battle, try out some cool hoverboard tricks, fight an evil kitten, and more. Experience completely different worlds, unexpected new abilities, and a variety of gameplay that includes platforming, stealth, puzzles, and more. Mio and Zoe don’t get along at first, but soon they become each other’s only hope. This journey will throw them unexpected twists and turns, and if they’re going to make it through, they’ll need to have each other’s backs. They’ll both encounter bizarre situations as they traverse stories born of their own wild imaginations. Most importantly, they will face it all together.

Split Fiction will be released on March 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
