Xbox Game Pass: The First December 2025 First Update

Microsoft has announced what content subscribers can expect from its subscription service.

 

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is now available (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers). Two games will be released today, which will also be available to Xbox Game Pass Premium subscribers: Monster Train 2 (Xbox Series, PC, cloud) and Spray Paint Simulator (console = Xbox Series, Xbox One; PC, cloud). On December 4, Game Pass Premium members will receive two additional games, 33 Immortals (console, PC, cloud; Game Preview, i.e., still in development) and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (Xbox Series, PC, cloud). In addition to these, a new game is coming, Routine (console, PC, handheld, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members; new release). Mortal Kombat 1 (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass members) will arrive on December 10, followed by Bratz: Rhythm & Style (console, PC, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass members) on December 11.

As a reminder, Microsoft highlighted four games. These are: CloverPit (console, PC, handheld, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Standard, and PC Game Pass members); Marvel Cosmic Invasion (console, PC, handheld, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members); Total Chaos (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members); Young Suns (console, PC, cloud; for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members; Game Preview). Xbox Game Pass Essential is also expanding with three games starting today: Stellaris, World War Z: Aftermath, and Medieval Dynasty.

Microsoft has announced three DLCs/updates. The Bone Chill Event is coming to Dead By Daylight on December 9, Season 18 of Sea of Thieves kicks off on the 11th, and Palworld will receive the Home Sweet Home update on the 17th. Three rewards await subscribers within the games. On console, PUBG Battlegrounds will receive the Exclusive Survivor Pack, on Xbox Series, Craft Your Precision awaits us in Delta Force, and on console, PC, and cloud, the Toyota Supra LBWK Edition Pack will be available in The Crew Motorfest.

Finally, 5 games are leaving. On December 15, Mortal Kombat 11 (console, PC, cloud), Still Wakes the Deep (console, PC, cloud), and Wildfrost (console, PC, cloud) will be leaving, and on December 31, Carrion (console, PC, cloud) and Hell Let Loose (console, PC, cloud) will be saying goodbye.
