Kenichiro Yoshida réfléchit essentiellement à un modèle d’abonnement hybride…

 

Norges Bank Investment Management a interviewé le PDG de Sony, qui a confirmé que la PlayStation restera sur la console, mais que l’expérience de jeu sera proposée sur PC, mobile et cloud. Nous avons déjà vu beaucoup de jeux portés sur PC (la prochaine grande nouveauté sera Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, malheureusement nous n’en verrons pas de portage non officiel…), mais le mobile n’a pas encore vraiment décollé . C’est pourquoi ils ont acquis Savage Game Studios et, pour le cloud, ils ont lancé PlayStation Portal, qui, selon nous, a commencé par un manque de fonctionnalités.

“Eh bien, nous avons un modèle commercial d’abonnement. Dans le même temps, les gens jouent généralement à un jeu à la fois, donc un type de nombreux jeux à volonté n’est peut-être pas aussi précieux que les services de streaming vidéo. Nous avons c’est en quelque sorte un service hybride équilibré sur le PlayStation Network : à la fois du contenu par abonnement et du contenu payant”, a déclaré Yoshida à propos du système d’abonnement de la société. La croissance des abonnements a ralenti récemment (et Sony est trop poulet pour dire combien d’abonnés PlayStation Plus possède).
