CD Projekt avait un bon bilan avec la trilogie The Witcher, m\u00eame si ce n’\u00e9tait pas leur propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle, et il semblait donc impossible pour eux de faire quoi que ce soit de mal… ce qu’ils ont fait, malgr\u00e9 des retards r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s, avec Cyberpunk 2077 (que Sony a pris la mesure sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent de retirer du PlayStation Store jusqu’\u00e0 ce que les d\u00e9veloppeurs le r\u00e9solvent d’ici juin 2021). Au cours des six mois qui ont suivi sa sortie, le jeu s’est enfin am\u00e9lior\u00e9, mais les plus grands changements sont venus avec la mise \u00e0 jour 2.0 et l’add-on Phantom Liberty, qui ne nous sont parvenus que bien plus tard (et le Kieg a d\u00e9j\u00e0 saut\u00e9 la paire PlayStation 4\/Xbox One).<\/p>\n
Eurogamer a publi\u00e9 une critique du jeu dans laquelle le co-PDG de CD Projekt, Micha\u0142 Nowakowski, a admis que si le statut du jeu avait \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9, la r\u00e9putation du studio ne l’\u00e9tait pas : \u00ab Au niveau du conseil d’administration, c’\u00e9tait : a) la prise de conscience de ce qui s’\u00e9tait pass\u00e9, b) nous avons reconnu que ce qui s’\u00e9tait pass\u00e9 \u00e9tait un gros, gros d\u00e9fi et un gros coup dur pour l’entreprise. Aucun d’entre nous n’y a vraiment pens\u00e9 en termes financiers, mais c’est un probl\u00e8me pour l’avenir que nous esp\u00e9rions construire pour cette entreprise, pour sa perception aupr\u00e8s des fans. Et c’est quelque chose que, pour \u00eatre honn\u00eate, nous avons probablement perdu pour toujours. Et oui, vous pouvez r\u00e9parer certaines choses, mais c’est une certaine perception de l’entreprise qui ne reviendra jamais. Est-ce bon ou mauvais ? Je ne sais pas, mais c’est un fait. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Pawe\u0142 Sasko, le directeur adjoint de la suite de Cyberpunk 2077 (Orion, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 au studio de CD Projekt \u00e0 Boston), s’est montr\u00e9 tout aussi prudent : \u00ab J’accepte et je comprends que pour certains d’entre eux, cela puisse \u00eatre une situation qui ne se produira jamais. Mais malheureusement, c’est le prix \u00e0 payer pour ce qui s’est pass\u00e9. Mais j’esp\u00e8re que gr\u00e2ce au travail que nous faisons, gr\u00e2ce aux choses que nous montrons, nous pourrons r\u00e9ellement convaincre certaines de ces personnes – et lorsqu’elles entendront quelqu’un leur parler des exp\u00e9riences incroyables qu’elles peuvent vivre dans, disons, Phantom Liberty, ou le prochain Witcher, ou le prochain Cyberpunk, ou Hadar [la nouvelle propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle de CD Projekt], d\u00e8s qu’elles verront qu’il y a cette valeur incroyable dans ce jeu, elles le d\u00e9couvriront et l’appr\u00e9cieront. \u00bb<\/p>\n
